My List

Recommend a book.

Like historical fiction that brings you to a different time, or a travelogue that immerses you in another geography, these are stories that place you in your body.

The content will vary, but these stories have had a palpable effect: a scene, a sympathetic character, a bit of dialogue, or a descriptive passage elicited a mind-and-body response that enriched your understanding.

The Embodied Reader is a living library, and it will grow through readers engaging with it. We'll add your recommendation to the library within a few days.  Thank you for your contribution.
